- Minilogs, another Social Bookmarking website to collect links and Web content raises € 200K.
- Google bought Waze, which is a Social Navigation App where in users provide live Maps and routes, for $1 billion+.
- Animoto updates its iOS App to simplify its Video creation Workflow. Animoto is a service which lets users create videos from photos and videos.
- Salesforce bought Exacttarget for $2.5 billion.
- Yahoo! bought tumblr for $1.1 billion.
- BrightEdge, a company that offers tools for Search Engine Optimization and Content Marketing raised $42.8 million.
- InternMatch launched in 2009 lands $4 million Series A funding to build its Data-based job search platform.
- iZettle, a european Square (Mobile Payment Startup) rival raised $6.6 million to expand its root worldwide.
- Lamoda, a russian Online fashion site received $130 million.
