Then select the label named 'USB Connection' placed in the notifications drawer available on the home page of the Smartphone. After this, a dialog box will pop up, simply select 'USB Mass Storage' from the list of options that results in.
After you are done with this, click on 'My computer' and there you will witness the label 'Smartphone's drive' in the section of 'Drives with Removable Storage'. On clicking the Smartphone driver, a file explorer window will be initiated. Finally, you need to drag the desired music files from your computer and drop them in the drive. After all the files are dropped, the cable can be removed. Then search for the music app in the app drawer of the phone, to select it.
