Top 10 Apps for Couples (Android and iphone)

You people must be thinking that has WTFdiary changed its area of concern from Technology to Couple Counselling. No people but one thing is for sure that Technology is a key part of how we connect to other people. Chances are a lot, that your socialising and interaction with others happens through your smartphone. Why not harness that power of technology for good in your relationship?

More and more apps are available that can help you connect with your partner and enhance your relationship. Here are our picks for the top 10 apps for couples.

1. Pair

pair iPhone appPair has been described as a private Facebook for couples. Pair tries to create as many ways as possible for you and your partner to stay connected when you’re physically apart. It allows you to send text messages, kisses and “touches”, share photos and videos, send your location, and create drawings together. Pair also helps you keep track of important dates and shared tasks. Pair is a playful, colourful, fun and private platform to stay in touch with your partner during your day-to-day lives.

2. Love Maps

They found that one of the keys to relationship success is the quality of your “love maps”. Love maps include what we know about our partner’s inner world and experiences, from day to day events to their bigger hopes and dreams. The more you know about what’s important to your partner, the more likely that your relationship will work. The Gottmans designed this app to help you and your partner improve your love maps and strengthen your relationship.

Fix a Fight was designed to help couples get back on track and develop even greater intimacy after an argument. More intimate than an SMS and shorter and easier to coordinate than a phone call. You can also send location information via the app.

5. Wunderlist

Wunderlist can help you and your partner coordinate all those to-dos that are a necessary part of life but not exactly exciting romance. Wunderlist is a task management program that allows you to share tasks lists, add tasks or check them off as completed, set reminders, and star certain tasks as important. The lists sync wirelessly so you’re both on the same page. It’s great for projects such as holiday planning or home renovations and everyday tasks like shopping lists. Wunderlist is also great for creating and sharing long-term dreams and bucket lists.

6. Kindu

10. Appy Couple
