How to Delete Browsing history Automatically on exiting

Every Web Browser, saves complete history of Websites that we visit. For some users this is a nice feature as the browser remembers their passwords and their Internet routine. But only for single-user Computers, because it may become more of a security risk on Multi-user Computers, where another user can very easily access the webpages you visited and can even get into your accounts in case you missed the logout link.

So its better you configure your browser to delete your browsing history each time when the browser window is closed, to prevent others from monitoring your activities.

Here, we have explained the procedure to configure this in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. So follow these easy steps, and boycott a potential security threat to enjoy tension free browsing.

Internet Explorer

Step 1 : Click on the "Tool" button at the top-right corner of Internet Explorer Window and select "Internet Options" from the drop down.

Step 2 : Click the "General" tab, and check in the box labelled "Delete browsing History on exit" and click "OK" to save these settings.

Mozilla Firefox

Step 1 : Click on the "Firefox" button at the top-left corner of the Window and then click on "Options" from the dropdown menu.

Step 2 : Click on the "Privacy" tab and go to "Use custom settings for history" option in the "Firefox will" dropdown.

Step 3 : Check in the box labelled "Clear history when Firefox closes" and click on "OK" to save the settings.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome doesn't comes with such an option, but it do have an extension to perform this same task for you which is available at the Chrome Web Store for free.
