Apple To Replace Google Maps With Apple’s Own Cutting-Edge 3D Maps In iOS 6

Yes what you heard is right...Almost we all know that we expect to see the new iOS 6 which is going to be the new operating system for Apple’s new iPhone which expected to be released in the upcoming month, I know that many of us are bored from the default Google Maps which only brings just streets from above with no features or faces.
But today we have got a new report from the folks at 9to5mac which claims that iOS 6 said to replace Google Maps with a new Apple’s own cutting-edge 3D maps.

If these rumors are to be believed, iOS 6 – the next major release of Apple’s iOS operating system powering the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad - will forgo Google Maps in favor of Apple’s in-house mapping service based on incredible 3D maps. The headline new feature will still be called Maps.

Mark Gurman, writing for 9to5Mac, has the story, based on “trusted sources”:
Apple has an incredible headline feature in development for iOS 6: a completely in-house maps application. Apple will drop the Google Maps program running on iOS since 2007 in favor for a new Maps app with an Apple backend.

Changing the current Google Maps view of streets and building tops, this particular Apple's App will provide the best 3D shot of buildings and places around the world.

This image let out by 9to5Mac , clearly shows the huge possible difference between the interfaces and the pictures of these two applications as told by insiders.

While Apple has always had full control of the actual iOS Maps application design, the backend has belonged to Google. That will change with iOS 6 thanks to their purchases of PlacebaseC3 Technologies, and Poly9 acquisitions that Apple has used to create a complete mapping database.

Really this feature is one of the most important things that we are in a need for it because it will help us to identify our current location with the iPhone “Find My Location” and more the view of the streets will be much great difference which make it a great deal.

CS3, being a company, who is World famous for its techniques to map topographies in 3D was recently acquired by Apple, which gives Apple an upper hand in creating this technology with ease.

So lets just wait, with our fingers crossed for the launch of Apple's all new Operating system iOS6 because with that comes the Apple's Cutting-Edge 3D Maps.

Thanks for Template.
